Student Reading Motivation: Attitudes, Engagement and Strategies

Aims: To investigate the best fit model of student reading motivation.
 Study Design: Descriptive-causal. 
 Place and Duration Study: Department Education (DepEd) Divisions Cotabato, Koronadal, Kidapawan, Sultan Kudarat, General Santos City during school year 2022-2023.
 Methodology: Data were gathered through survey questionnaires. The 400 grade 10 respondents chosen stratified random sampling. A structural equation wa used in accessing sequence inter-dependencies between independent dependent variables.
 Results: overall results showed a high level learning strategies, engagement, motivation. It was also revealed that variable attitude students towards moderate reluctance low loneliness at belongingness participants. There is significant relationship three variables: toward All variables have correlation. Of five models developed, 5 had indices consistent indicated to data.
 Conclusion: study proves Achievement Goal Theory. Students’ motivation helps them develop desire learn succeed. goes essential reading. Likewise, high-level ability strategy, school, contribute
